Why international buyers are coming back to the Left Bank, and which streets they want.

After a few quiet years, the Paris pied-à-terre is back in demand. International buyers, many of them already owners in London, Geneva or Dubai, are returning to the Left Bank for a second home that is easy to lock up and leave.

The streets they want haven't changed: the quiet parts of the 6th and 7th arrondissements, close to the Jardin du Luxembourg and the Seine. What has changed is the brief. Buyers now want renovated apartments with good natural light and a lift.

Prices for the best apartments have held firm, while homes that need work sell at noticeably lower prices. For buyers willing to renovate, that difference is an opportunity, and our partners in Paris can manage the whole project.

We expect Paris to join our main destinations in 2027. Until then, our London team arranges viewings through trusted local partners.
