Market ReportSep 20268 min read

Where prices are heading in ten of the world's most sought-after markets, and why Dubai and the Alps lead.

Prime property has stayed calm in 2026. Buyers are more selective than they were in 2021 and 2022, but the best homes in the best places are still selling quickly, often to buyers who never saw a public listing.

Dubai remains the strongest market we cover. Palm Jumeirah and Emirates Hills continue to attract families relocating permanently, not just investors, and that has made prices steadier. There are fewer quick resales and more long-term owners.

The Alps are the other standout. There are very few chalets that foreign buyers are allowed to purchase in Gstaad and Verbier, so well-located homes still draw several offers. We expect prices there to keep rising gently.

London and Monaco are a matter of timing. Good homes are available on better terms than a year ago, and patient buyers with flexible completion dates are finding the best deals.

Our advice for the year ahead: be ready to move quickly on the right home, and ask about off-market options early. In several of our destinations, the best homes of 2026 have not been publicly advertised.
